Something like 95% of the bunks are installed. And yes I used Renn's standard bunk design. Reason being is that the bunk tops overhang the bunk sides. I think this should prove to be very comfortable when sitting on the bunk with your legs hanging over. Some of the guys extended the bunk sides out from the stringers over to the edge of the bunks. So when you sit on the bunks you are essentially sitting on a box and your legs can't go further back than the bunk top edge and now bunk sides. I think this is less comfortable. I've used furniture and cabinets that have no recess for your feet and find that to be very annoying in the lack of human engineering.
I have two small fillets, two small sections to tape, a couple of coats of epoxy on the bunk tops, and installation of the hatches left before the next big step. That will be installation of the cuddy sides.
