Draw an outline of a Tolman Skiff in your driveway, Then sit down around station 6 and make engine noises, and steer an invisible steering wheel.

That is the first thing we did after we turned the boat and got it back inside the shop. A whole bunch of guys making motor noises and fishing wheel clickers going off.

Thanks! A laugh is good. Got to get out of my rut. I would usually make a pot of coffee, plug A/C D/C into my ears &  make some headway. Just a downer right now, Malcom gone. Tom Petty too. Their dropping like flies. I'm feeling old. My loyal cat Benny went missing a few weeks ago. Exhausted all efforts searching. No beer allowed - got to keep the gout away. The glass is half empty.  Thanks for listening.

Make sawdust
Glue and screw something every day.

Im amazed ive gotten as far as i have in such short time...especially with new babies coming and a divorce happening...moving twice...
Dammit...the list goes on...but i find sanity in even only one or two 20 minute sessions a month spreading poxy round...especially in the times that that's all 8 can make time for...

...and look...there's a dang boat to show for it!!!

Thanks for the encouragement. Got my crap together & making more progress. Went down to Ft Lauderdale & stocked up on glue. Had to move the hull to the other side of the house cause the back neighbor is a pain in the ass. Wife is happy to have her patio back. Here's the boat on its way to the other side of the yard.

My biggest motivation was catching Tuna on Dave Nolan's Jumbo 2 years ago.  We're heading out tonight and I plan on boating the first Tuna on my own Jumbo.

Sweet...
Nolan has passed an invitation...just gotta make the 5 hr drive.

My motivation is progress...
Hoping to get the bulk of the remaining seams taped with 2408 this afternoon...just laid a 20' strech of chine solo and got the main drain plugged with the leftover poxy after...a rodeo with hot hands at the end, but I'm steamrolling ahead anyway...

PROGRESS...and yuengling
