Trailer TPMS
« on: April 01, 2019, 04:35:01 AM »
I installed these Meirun internal TPMS tire pressure sensors with associated displays on all truck and trailer tires.  Low cost solution to display and monitor real time tire pressure while driving.

These perform better than described in the Amazon details, trailer tire sensors are ~ 35' away from the display/receiver unit that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket.  Pressure capability is also higher than described limit of 50 PSI.

I know this is old thread but wanted to add on.  I bought a new truck in 2019.  It had 4 tpms sensors for a trailer.  The truck, 2019 Chevy Silverado had a built in trailer app.  I love being able to track tire pressure and tire temp.  It also has a connection page that runs through all the light combos making it easy to check trailer lights by yourself.  It also has a security feature so that if you unhook the wiring connection after locking the truck the truck alarm sounds.
