« on: March 14, 2008, 08:02:25 AM »
Flat bottom, Standard, Widebody, Jumbo, Seabright.

What are the differences?

Which model should I build?

Build a standard ....... only sissies need cabins and the standard is the one with the work-boat heritage......the WB and Jumbo are for recreational use only......imo......Bruce

Captain Lee,

Is that the spaghetti monster pirate fish logo? Very nice. I am also an active pasta-farian.

All ya'll with them there fancy modeling materials.  Cardboard - that's the ticket.... I got some posterboard and masking tape after my back surgery when I couldn't move so well.  I stood at my in-laws island, cut, taped, and tah da.

This model IS the Great Alaskan ...my sister will now give you a BIG kiss!

The model was built by New Haven Boatworks in Washington.  I believe it's a 1:10 scale model (and note that the framing shown, other than the stringers, is not according to plan.)
