Need to remove paint from a small area. Will paint remover harm expoy and glass?

Paint stripper based on methelyne chloride can loosen up epoxy, but would take a lot of work to do so. I would try MEK on a scotch brite pad with gentle scrubbing.

I used MEK but sparingly. Id donit again, wipe it off and then grind where i used it

I tried this on my swim platform and found the paint stripper did soften up the epoxy a bit.
I'd suggest sanding instead.
