« on: July 27, 2017, 07:11:08 PM »
Anyone in here purchased a hull kit from West Coast Boat Works? Im looking to get one this fall for my high school students to build. Any input?

Got my 23'-6" Widebody kit from Chuck. I believe it was kit #1 or 2. Would definitely do it again.

Awesome! thanks for the feed back. Which plywood did you go with? Any pics of your build?

I want to get a computer cut file so I can get my local cnc guy to cut in New Zealand. Keen to pay. Widebody or jumbo hull.

I went with Okoume for light weight and ease of fairing. Some folks say it's not as strong as fir ply but it's a lot easier to get a smooth finish. There are other options as well. I have a build thread that used to have pictures but, apparently, PhotoBucket is holding my images ransom until I start paying for their service.
