Finished glassing the bow cover, gunnels and spray rails...and troweling a bit of fairing compound to help the final appearance. I took to a strategy of laying up the glass and not adding subsequent coats of epoxy by roll or brush to "fill the weave". Rather I just troweled on a faring compound when the glass was still a bit soft-ish/green. I feel that troweling on fills the weave more directly/effectively and a lot faster. I think sometimes just coating it will just add layers of epoxy shells to the same fiberglass texture vs. filling in the texture - especially for biax tape.

Just have to glass the top of the side boxes/trays etc. The next time you see a post it will be painted.

Congratulation on your dory.
I look forward to your YouTube video of the launch in the Pacific.
Which motor are you going with?

Im in the midst of that decision right now....options. I am more or less locked in a 90HP in a Suzuki or Honda. The only exception to that is I am also considering the Yamaha F70.  Any feedback?

My Opinions on outboard motors is limited,
I only know what I have proven to myself.
I have experience with Suzuki and Yamaha.
Both motors is a quality choice.
You can't go wrong.
