Hello from windy Cape Cod.
I've read about Tolman skiffs with a lot of interest for a while. Given my state in life (dad of two young kids) a boat wasn't in the budget, but I had an opportunity to purchase a widebody with a 60hp 4 stroke, so I did. It was a great addition to our summer last year and spent a lot of weekends beached on sandbars and small islands. Anyways, I feel like a poser being here having bought a Tolman instead of building it, but I am working to do all the maintenance myself and will be tackling a workboat-quality paint job in the near future.
