I cleaned out (ie threw away) a lot of stuff and rearranged the various shelving. As you can see in the picture to the right I had alot of rearragning to do. On the left was an attached counter that had to be taken down and stored away.

I needed to inventory my tools to ensure I had everything needed for the project

Lighting is not too bad but will need some portable lighting when it comes time for fairing work.

The work table will become my main "storage surface for tools not actively being used and for small fabrication work.

I put casters on a small book case to become my expoxy cart. This entailed removing the too small casters from the existing work table to use on the epoxy cart and then replacing with more appropriately sized casters for the work table.

Got my fillers from Skiff Kits

I built sawhorses according to Renn's design.

In Renn Tolman's book he says in order to avoid distractions you should not have even a coffe maker in the shop... hmmm wonder what he would think of this ;-)

Phase 1

First things first. Before the the project begins and takes over the garage I needed to install cabinets in the laundry room and most important is a remote start for Kathleen's car. It's only fair since she is being evicted from the garage for the winter.

That done it was time to make room for the project.
