Various details
Have the majority of the forward air intake/ fuel tank vent channel done. This is to satisfy USCG requirements to positively vent a below deck fuel tank. (tho I think its mostly theoretical) and it allows me to place the forward fuel tank vent outside of the cabin. WHen done there will be a removable piece at deck level and where it exits the cabin wall in the event of needing to replace the hose.. hopefully never.
Outside of the cabin the vent hose will be attached with some stainless clamp with an upper loop to prevent water from ever traveling to the fuel tank.
The scoop is slightly angled down just a bit so that water can not coolect in there and ever run back into the vent chase.
The last picture shows how the seat base was built up around the chase.
